امیر اہل سنت مولانا الیاس عطار قادری دامت برکاتہم العالیہ کی ولادت 26 رمضان المبارک 1369ھ بمطابق 12 جولائی 1950 بروز بدھ کراچی کے علاقے کھارادر میں ہوئی آپ کا اسم گرامی "محمد" اور عرفی نام الیاس ہے آپ کی کنیت ابو بلال اور تخلص عطار ہے آپ کا تعلق میمن برادری سے ہے

:بیعت و خلافت

آپ سلسلہ عالیہ قادریہ رضویہ میں بیعت ہیں آپ کے پیر صاحب کا نام سیدی قطب مدینہ مولانا ضیاء الدین مدنی علیہ الرحمہ ہے ۔ آپکی خلافت جانشین قطب مدینہ شیخ فضل الرحمن مدنی سے اور مفتی محمد عبدالسلام قادری فتحپوری اور مفتی محمد وقار الدین رضوی رحمھم اللہ سے ہے۔

:عطار کہلانے کی وجہ

آپ نے ایک مدنی مذاکرہ میں فرمایا کہ مجھے عطر لگانے کا شوق تھا تو پھر میں نے عطر بیچنے کا بھی کاروبار شروع کردیا اس وجہ سے لوگ مجھے عطار کہنے لگے اسی وجہ سے میں نے اپنا تخلص عطار رکھا اور یہ تخلص اتنا مشہور ہوا کہ لوگ مجھے الیاس کم عطار زیادہ کہنے لگے اور اس میں ایک بزرگ سید فریدالدین عطار رحمہ اللہ کی نسبت بھی شامل ہے۔ [caption id="attachment_314" align="aligncenter" width="300"] Mulana Ilyas Attar Qadri[/caption]

آپ علماء و عوام میں امیر اہل سنت کے لقب سے زیادہ مشہور ہیں آپ کو پاک و ہند کے مفتیان کرام و علماء عظام نے مختلف مواقع پر مختلف القاب سے نوازا جن میں سے چند یہ ہیں

عالمِ نبيل، فاضلِ جليل،عاشق رسول مقبول، یادگار اسلاف، نمونہ اسلاف، مبلغ اسلام، رہبر قوم، عاشق مدینہ، امیر اہل سنت، محسن دین و ملت ، ترجمان اہل سنت، حامی سنت ،ماحی بدعت، شیخ طریقت اور شیخ وقت وغیرہ ۔

:خاندانی تعارف

آپ کے آباء و اجداد کتیانہ جونا گڑھ ہند سے تعلق رکھتے تھے پھر پاکستان ہجرت کر کے کراچی میں رہائش پذیر ہوئے آپ کے والد کا نام حاجی عبدالرحمن قادری اور والدہ کا نام امینہ خاتون علیہما الرحمہ ہے آپ کے دادا کا نام عبدالرحیم رحمہ اللہ، نانا کا نام حاجی محمد ہاشم اور نانی کا نام حلیمہ خاتون تھا آپ کے والد صاحب 14 ذی الحج 1370ھ میں حج کے دوران گرم لُو لگنے سے وصال فرما گئے آپ کے ایک بھائی تھے عبدالغنی جوکہ آپ سے بڑے تھے انکا حیدر آباد ٹرین حادثے میں انتقال ہوا تھا ۔ آپ کے بھائی کے انتقال کے کچھ عرصے بعد والدہ کا بھی انتقال ہوگیا اللہ تعالی کی آپ کے تمام آباء و اجداد پر رحمت ہو اور انکے صدقے ہماری مغفرت ہو اور آپ کی دو بہنیں ہیں دو بیٹے اور ایک بیٹی ہے

:اخلاق و عادات

آپ بچپن سے اعلی اوصاف کے مالک تھے، آپ کی سادہ طبیعت بچپن سے ہے اور ہمیشہ خوش اخلاقی سے پیش آنے والے تھے ،اگر کوئی ڈانٹ بھی دیتا تو جوابی کاروائی کے بجائے خاموشی اختیار کرتے ہوئے صبر کا دامن تھامے رہتے شروع ہی سے شریعت پر سختی سے کاربند تھے آپ فرماتے ہیں کہ مجھے الحمد للہ بچپن سے تہجد کا شوق ہے آپ نے جوانی بھی بے مثال گزاری کہ سب آپ کی تقوی و پاکیزگی کی گواہی دیتے ہیں ۔

:دعوت اسلامی تحریک کا قیام

آپ نے اس مدنی مقصد مجھے اپنی اور ساری دنیا کے لوگوں کی اصلاح کی کوشش کرنی ہے تحت سنتوں بھری مدنی تحریک دعوت اسلامی کی بنیاد 1401ھ بمطابق 1981 چند رفقاء کے ساتھ رکھی اور پھر دیکھتے ہی دیکھتے یہ تحریک دنیا کے کم وبیش 200 ممالک میں پھیل چکی ہے اور اس تحریک نے ہر سمت سنتوں کے ڈنکے بجا دئیے ہیں اس تحریک نے سینکڑوں جامعات اور ہزاروں مدارس بنائے ، ہزاروں علماء و حفاظ بنائے اور لاکھوں لوگوں کو راہ راست پر لا کھڑا کیا 2008 میں خالص اسلامی چینل مدنی چینل شروع کیا جسے دیکھ کر کئی غیر مسلموں نے کلمہ پڑھا اور ہزاروں بھٹکے ہووں کو راہ دیکھائی ہر لحاظ سے دین متین کی خدمت میں مصروف ہے ۔

:تاریخی کارنامے

سیدی امیر اہل سنت نبّاض وقت ہیں ، آپ نے ہر فتنے کا سدباب فرمایا آپ نے ہر محاذ پر باطل قوتوں کا ڈٹ کر مقابلہ کیا اور ہمیشہ دفاع اہل سنت کی سعی فرمائی مدارس، جامعات، مدنی چینل، کتب لکھ کر، قریہ قریہ نیکی کی دعوت کیلئے مدنی قافلے، مریدوں کو علم دین کی رغبت دینے کیلئے ہر ہفتے رسالہ عطا کرنا، ہر ہفتے علم دین سے بھر پور مدنی مذاکرہ فرمانا، اورجب اہل بیت کی محبت کے آڑ میں صحابہ کے خلاف بولنے کی جسارت کی گئی تو آپ نے آگے بڑھ کر ہر صحابی نبی جنتی جنتی کا نعرہ لگاکر باطل قوتوں کے تابوت میں آخری کیل ٹھونک دی اور فیضان مشکل کشا و فیضان امیر معاویہ مساجد بنا کر جواب دیا جب گستاخانہ خاکے بننے لگے تو حسن و جمال مصطفے مساجد بناکر جواب دیا

مادہ پرستی کے دور میں لاکھوں افراد کو مغرب کی تہذیب اپنانے کے بجائے سرکار صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی سنتوں پر کاربند بنادیا

Your surname is "Muhammad" and Ilyas Alias. Your surname is Abu Bilal and your surname is Attar. You belong to the Memon community.

Allegiance and Khilafah:

You have pledged allegiance to the noble Qadriyya Rizviyah. Your caliphate is from Qutb Madina successor Sheikh Fazlur Rehman Madani and Mufti Muhammad Abdul Salam Qadri Fatehpuri and Mufti Muhammad Waqaruddin Rizvi(R.A).

Aalam Nabeel, Fazil Jalil, Aashiq Rasool Maqbool, Yadgar Aslaf, Namuna Aslaf, Mubligh Islam, Rahbar Qaum, Aashiq Madina, Amir Ahl-e-Sunnat, Mohsin Din wa Millat, Turjuan Ahl-e-Sunnat, Hami Sunnat, Mahi Bidaat, Shaykh Tareeqat and Shaykh Waqt etc.

His ancestors were from Katiana Junagarh India then migrated to Pakistan and settled in Karachi. His father's name is Haji Abdul Rehman Qadri and his mother's name is Amina Khatun His grandfather's name was Abdul Rahim (may Allah have mercy on him), his grandfather's name was Haji Muhammad Hashim and his grandmother's name was Halima Khatun. His father passed away on 14th Dhul-Hijjah 1370 AH due to heatstroke during Hajj He had a brother, Abdul Ghani, who was older than him, and who died in the Hyderabad train accident.
